Semi-permanent makeup is a non-surgical treatment to enhance your natural features, creating defined eyebrows, immaculate eyeliner and luscious lips.

It’s fast becoming one of the most popular treatments in the beauty industry for a reason.

Kiss goodbye to that lengthy makeup routine. With semi-permanent makeup, the process is down to roughly once a year.

Yes, you read that right. Once a year for beautiful, natural-looking results.

Now you can literally get up and go.

    • MICROBLADING
Pigment is implanted into the skin with an ergonomically designed micropen to realistically and naturally mimic real hairs.

    • DIGITAL
Digital systems have more accurate pigment implantation, like tattooing, which precisely penetrates the skin hundreds of times per second.

    • SEMI-PERMANENT MAKEUP
Can last for several years, though this is dependent on several factors including skin type, sun exposure and lifestyle.

Different areas of the face fade at different rates due to the skin’s natural exfoliation. So while semi-permanent makeup is low maintenance, it’s not 'zero maintenance' as pigment will fade over time.

  • Results can be immediately, with maximum effect in around 6 weeks after treatment.

We recommend a colour refresher treatment every twelve to eighteen months to maintain perfect results.

    • HEAL
As soon as treatment is finished, your body will start to heal. The skin will close and you may see a thin scab which is your body’s natural protection during this time.

    • PEEL
After a few days, the scab will fall away and you will see the pigment below.

    • FADE
You will see a lighter hue of implanted colour which will change over 3 to 4 weeks. In some cases, healed lip colour will not be seen for up to 3 months. In other cases, eyeliner can disappear entirely during this phase.

    • A patch test is required prior to any treatment to check for allergic reactions.

    • It’s not advisable to tint eyebrows, perm or curl eyelashes for around 1 week prior to treatment and for around 2 weeks following treatment.

    • Ideally, you should not visit the gym, sauna, jacuzzi or swimming pool for 24 hours prior to treatment.

    • Please arrive for your appointment without makeup as removal on the day can irritate the skin and increase risk of infection.

    • EYELINER

      • please remove eyelash extensions before arrival.

      • If you wear contact lenses, please remove them and bring glasses to wear post-treatment.

    • LIPS
if you suffer from facial cold sores you may be at risk of a break out so please ensure you take a 3 day course of Aciclovir prior to treatment (we can prescribe that for you following initial consultation).

    • Aftercare is key. If you keep the treatment area clean, you’ll heal quickly and beautifully.

    • Don’t pick or pull at the treatment area - it’ll slow healing and may result in infection or pigment loss.

    • You may notice whiteness (blanching) around the treated area. It’s normal. Try to keep it dry, but if it becomes wet, blot it dry - don’t wipe.

    • After treatment, you may still feel numbness but this should subside within a couple of hours. Any swelling should subside within 2 days.

    • In some cases bruising may occur, though this should last no longer than 1 week.

    • If you are given aftercare ointment, please use sparingly. Apply 1 to 3 times daily with clean hands and a clean cotton bud. If your lips feel dry, apply more frequently but do not over use as this may reduce pigment retention.
