5 Things To Look For When Choosing An Aesthetic Clinic

Choosing an Aesthetic Clinic can be difficult.

It’s one thing to compare based price or proximity. Maybe you’ve had the recommendation of a friend, but there’s much, much more to it than that.

Fortunately, and as if by magic, here’s Doctor Caroline with 5 things to think about before you make your decision.

  1. FRONT OF HOUSE STAFF

Never underestimate the importance of good front house staff - they'll help you with appointment queries, put your ease, answer all your questions and make you feel welcome.

  2. A RANGE OF TREATMENT MODALITIES

If you only have one tool for treating a problem then you tend to recommend that option, even if other options are better for the patient. Look for a clinic that has multiple treatment modalities and a consultation process should help determine which one is right for you.

  3. IS YOUR CLINIC APPROVED BY A GOVERNING BODY?

In Scotland, this is Healthcare Improvement Scotland (HIS). In England, this may be CQC. All the information on this is readily available on their website, so use it.

(and yes, FrownDocs is HIS registered)

  4. A TEAM OF STAFF MEMEBERS TO SUIT EVERY TREATMENT

Doctors make great injectors but they’re hopeless at facials. For certain skin treatments, aestheticians are better suited for the job.

  5. DISCRETION

Difficult to quantify, but do you feel the clinic values to your discretion? Do they have a private room and some space if you'd like some space from other clients? This is particularly important with our new patients - it's really crucial that you feel comfortable.

TL;DR?

If you want an Aesthetic Clinic where treatments are performed in an friendly, professional environment by someone who really knows what they’re doing, talk to FrownDocs.
